Grant Programs

May contain: plant, blossom, and flower

The Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District (District) offers several grant programs for local residents, businesses, public and private agencies, non-profit and community groups.  The focus of our Programs is to eliminate and/or replace the operation of older polluting conventional fuel vehicles and equipment earlier than its normal life cycle or regulatory requirements.  District grant programs provide incentives to encourage participation and lower the cost of transitioning to cleaner technologies such as zero emissions.

Eligibility requirements for incentives and grants are limited to local residents, businesses, public and private agencies, non-profit and community groups.  Incentives are typically paid as reimbursement after an application is submitted, or in some cases, after proposed projects are approved by the Governing Board and a Grant Agreement is signed.  Grant Programs have limited funds and may terminate upon depletion of Program funding.  The District will have no obligation to honor applications prior to applicant verification of available funds or contracted projects.
